Well, He is now George Bailey....

Well, it seems that I have landed my first lead roll in a play since I was in sixth grade.

Now that was an interesting play. I was living in Arizona with my father and Janice. As a matter of fact I was grounded during the production of the play for throwing a rock at my sister.

However, the good news is that the play was on my birthday and it seemed to get me out of my room.

Now at 35! Well, I really don't get grounded anymore and we are in October. (My birthday is in February) However last week when I was getting two additional certifications for sailing I was harassed by an officer in Oceanside for possibly being a homeless man.

It seems that I woke up early. I often do. Well, to go back to sleep I bought some coffee. While walking back to the boat an officer approached my and said "Hey, are you on drugs and are you homeless." He must work on his people skills. But anyway we soon discovered that was was just a guy on a sailing trip and we parted ways.

So after the trip I drove up to Orange County and auditioned for the Part. It must have been a good sight. I was in full beard, I was sea sick, I was running a fever, and best part of all I was reading the script on a third grade level.

So when I was asked to read a total of three times, I figured "I think I am going to be George Bailey!" Well, then on Monday I received an email from the director that said "Hey, good News you can be Ernie"

Well, I didn't respond! I decided to buy new carpet and paint my room, and get a job. I was tired of chasing non-sense. Then, well kind of just like George Bailey, I received a call from the director. "I would like for you to read for me again." I went back to Orange County and re-read.

He then shared with me. "Walter I looked at the photo I took of you on the day of the audition. then I looked at your head shot. There is no way these two people are the same." I then explained my experience with the Oceanside police and the fact I read with a fever the day of the audition.

So now reading at the level of a fourth grader. I nailed the part and now...
Well, I am George Bailey.

And I am very Excited and honored to be apart of this production.

I have been casted as George Bailey in the production of "It is a Wonderful Live!" and it is well, Wonderful!

There is many more updates, but currently that is the trump card. Now Remember we are writing again, but really who really reads this anymore anyway.

So the good news is now we can get back to the reason for this blog. That is less Hey, look what I am doing, and Hey,

"HE IS WITH THE PEOPLE!"

Walter Thank your for sharing this time...........................
