He Does Day Two (Two) in Hawaii!

An actual photo of a Hawaiian Beach.

This is near the point of Ka'ena Point. This place is known in the winter for deadly surfy. It seems that the people go into the water, but for what ever reason, don't return. The reason being the heavy surf and the heavy coral bottom sometimes are too much for one person to handle.

So, why do things that we know that are dangerous? I really don't know!

Malia here is happy to be on top of our rental car. She is most excited because she was able to get the perfect shot of the old sugar mill. It is the background of this photo. Now this part becomes important..

Read on and I will explain why.

See this guy. Well, he works at the old mill. He showed us the beauty of a fresh coffee bean, as well as real chocolate. 100% Pea Berry chocolate. It was really good.

So why is this important? Just be patient.

Ok, what is this? Well, it is the factory of Waialua Soda Works.

Why is this important?

Just a little bit more...

Unrelated photo!

Just liked the fact a women in a bikini was walking up to me while I was in deep thought with a camera in my hand.

Now for those of you who might say! "Hey, I have not appeared on this blog in a bikini!"

That is because I have not photo of you in one.
Now be patient all this links to the search of Captain Zero. Who? The guy we talk about in our earlier blog. The one before this one. You mean I have to read the previous blog to understand this one. Yes, that is the correct answer.

So save that evil eye. There is more to come, and the hunt for Captain Zero Continues.

You mean we won't find out why it is important to have a sugar factory, a photo in front of a soda company all in the same blog today.

No! Otherwise why would you return tomorrow for more exciting non-sense. Or, is it? Is something really happening beyond your comprehension?

Now, just for a quick update if you are a daily follower and it seems that there has not been one in quite some time.

I am going to the big island of Hawaii. Now I am not sure if I will have access to a computer since this part of the trip revolves around camping and looking at a volcano. Now, I spoiled it. There is no reason to look in the future. Wait there is! We still have not discovered the importance of this Captain.

This chair is not from Hawaii. But it is cool!

It is from Austria. Remember "Climb Every Mountain!"
Your first hint in the search for Captain Zero!

Enjoy the adventure.

Love fearlessly
Walter!

(What is this crazy bugger talking about?)

He Does Hawaii

Well, there you have it. He is meeting the people of Hawaii.

This here is Shawn. He works at dollar rental car. He was most excited to take a photo and express his excitement of my arrival in Hawaii.

This is Malia. She is most excited to be waiting in line for a secondary Security screening before the big adventure to Hawaii.

Her tube of toothpaste was confiscated because its had 6oz of content instead of the approved amount of 3oz.

It seems that she is very conscious of proper oral hygiene.

So besides renting cars and brushing our teeth. What does one do in Hawaii?

Well, last night there was a complete lunar eclipse. It happen at about 12am last night.

The best location for this phenomenon was on the South Shore. So we got a tent and camped out on the south side shore line in Kahala.

However, it seemed that the tide started to rise about an hour after the eclipse started so we packed up and left.

Earlier that day I went surfing on the same side of the island.

This here is not a photo of Hawaii. It was hard to take pictures with my camera, since the break was about a half a mile out.

However, I did surf my first reef break and let me tell you, it really gets your attention!
One is a little less cavalier in the way one approaches a wave when there are rocks sticking out of the water!

The good news is I had two of the longest lefts of my life and a met a new friend from Australia! His name is Zack and he is about 14. He waved me over and mumbled, "Hey, something something something. This is the best spot, something something, I like something, and I am from something Australia. We should something here and be careful for something something is around and that could hurt." So I just said "My name is Walter and I too like pizza!" We had a good time.

So that is all for day one. Day two starts now. Oh yea, spoke with Jon Ramaro and we are to meet up with him later in the week. Also it seems that our bartender Rick at the Tiki Bar knows of the World Famous Jon Ramaro. If you don't know of this man, you will as the trip continues. He makes Captain Zero look like a Zero, but more on that adventure when it comes.

Who is Captain Zero? More on that as well? Much to discover on this trip in the islands. Wait! Walter, didn't "Zero" surf the gulf of Mexico? Yes, but we are not in Mexico anymore Dorthy.

What the hell is Walter talking about? Please wait and enjoy the adventure.

Have fun

Walter

Some Quick Updates!

I now have a Beard!

Not really news breaking stuff, but I thought I would venture into this slowly.

Megan Had her Baby! He is a Boy. Hence the He Part of that Sentence.

Tim Yates Came Back into town last weekend and more on that later.

We then later that night joined Mark Little at his place of business.
He had us as his guest.

I hope you all remember the Malia. She was the one who was Chad at the Police Concert.

Mark Agreed that Malia was prettier than his brother Chad.

Gabe's Girlfriend from Florida Carolina made it back on the West Coast.

Here they are posing on the little boat that I later crashed into a 60 foot Yacht. (Not a highlight of the adventure)

Here I am later on in the afternoon helping a sailer turn his boat over after it had been capsized.

(Not really a high light either but it was an opportunity to meet new people.

This is me surfing on my new Board.
I have a new board because my old board was stolen out of Malia's garage.

Good News! My old board was returned. How is that for good Karma.

These two people are Bert and Krista.

They are kissing because it seemed fun. By the way, Bert was the one who got us the boat that I mentioned earlier. You know the one I could not drive too well.

Niagra Falls

Awesome!

What else can you say! Nothing! So I will just shut up and post some what I feel amazing photos of this natural Wonder!

This photo was taken on the Maid of the Mist!

Falls inside the "Horseshoe" the Canadian Side of the Falls

Just a note! The Canadian Side of the Falls is much more impressive than the U.S. Side. However, if there wasn't a Horseshoes side then well WoW on our falls.

Another member of the Fleet from the Maid of the Mist

An Areal View from the Skylon Tower!

This was the view from the Restaurant lunch was at.

The Edge of the Falls!

Yes! I was that close. But for my safety there is a strong waist high stone wall, plus a steel poles that come up chest high.

Rainbow above the Falls!

At this point I really felt it would be a good Idea to go over the Falls in a Barrel.

But After really paying attention to the force of this water. Even I decided it was not really a good idea.

So Goodbye New Friends of this Tour Group!

It was nice to spend the day with you people!

So Thank you Canada!

You have a Wonderful Country and very kind people!

Walter

Caribana Festival!

Welcome to Toronto!

The home of the Worlds Largest Caribbean festival "Caribana!"

This here is a moose. Never mess with the moose! Never!

This is the Parade! This was the view from the West Jet booth.

Jenn (with two n's) just pronounced Jen not Jen-nnnnn, works for the West Jet and that how the Trip was won.

Here Jenn is accepting the prizes of this trip. It seems Ron, the promoter of this contest was happy to see us located in the Beer Garden.

Prizes included.
VIP lounge
Tickets to the Sean Paul Concert ??? I don't know the Sean Paul
Tickets to some other super musics festival
And of course the Accommodations in Beautiful Toronto!

So what to do after you receives your prises?

Well, why not while walking to the Tents notice three children struggling with their 50 gallon Drum filled with ice water to sell.

Well, I decided to help them move it. I did not realize it was about a quarter mile that I would be lugging this thing. So they allowed me to take their photo and gave me one free water.

So now that we arrived at the Tents. The real question is now what do we do. It took us about 2 hours to find and it seemed that all the food was well no longer.

So with a hello and hey where is the food, some hidden chicken was brought out and we joined the party.

Now the party was nice. And a Parade is Nice.
But you know what is better.....

Being in the Parade.

Yup! We went up to the guards and explained we needed to be in the parade.

They said no! Have to know someone or be apart of a band!
I said "I understand your position."
"However, I know the guard at the police concert. and I play Cow Bell!"
He said "Oh, its you. I sorry your the nut with the thumb in all your photos. Ok! Have Fun!"

So off we trecked up the parade saying hi to all my new friends.

"Hi New Friends!"

This is guy with red head piece to match his red car. They were with the Red Band!

These are my new Friends Tall Chicks!

They said they were normal size women!

Ya, if your mother is a Flamingo!

Nice ladies though!

These are just hot Girls!

You know there hot they had to take their tops off. How silly do you thing they felt when they discovered they are all wearing the same bra!

I was too scared to talk to them.

The orange Band gave me a flag!

I look kind of tired here.

Well, because I am.

See that grass behind me. Well, Ya Took a nap there for about an hour. Need the
"Caribana Siesta!"

This new Friend here is Called

"Is there something in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me!"

Maybe he is the father of the Flamingo's girls!

Anyway, he was very polite and didn't even mind us taking his photo!

So there you have it the biggest Caribbean festival in the world.

All in Beautiful Toronto!

Have a great day

Now in Canada

Well I have been trying to post since my arrival in Canada. It seems that I have had some technical difficulties.

Thanks to this young man from Best Buys he charged my camera so that I am able to bring you some of these amazing photos of Canada.

Also note Communication with the United States have found some challenges. Verizon "Can you here me now?" You need some coverage with our northern friends.

Now a tour of Canada!

It seems that I started in a Provenience called Alberta "Where you will see our first set of Photos" Now I am in Provenience Ontario.

The Orange on the left side of this map is Alberta, while the lower section of green is Ontario. This is where Niagara Falls is located and the plan is to go to the Carabana Festival on Saturday then Niagara Falls on Sunday.

With a return flight out of Toronto (City in the provenience Ontario) Sunday.

This is the Blue Water of Bow Lake in the Banff National Park in Alberta on the way up to the Columbian Ice-fields.

Very Beautiful!

As a matter of fact I enjoyed the nature so much.

I decided to join in the Nature, by embracing my nature man side.

It seemed that the people having a family picnic were happy to meet nature man as well.

At first they looked at me as if they saw the Yettie! They they realized it was just an American who as never saw glacier water before and asked when I got out if I would like to join them for a sandwich.
As Hunger as I was after the excitement. It was time to move on with my travels.

The New Balance Shoes did not make this trip.
So now we have Different Running Shoes In Canada. Well, this is my first step on the Glacier.

It was Truly amazing.

Here I am with my new Glacier Man Beard. I started this growth last weekend when I was in Baja as Cow Bell Man.

Now this Week I am Glacier Man!

Drinking out of the Glacier. It was Excellent.

This is the vehicle that took us on the glacier.
Not this actual vehicle, but the one just like it.

Ours was red and white with a maple leaf on it.

This one celebrates the Stamped which is a festival in Calgary during the first 10 days in July.

These are deer. As we know from October. They are not Bright Animals.

Very Cute and beautiful.

But Very Dumb.

Finally this is Banff. This is the major hotel in Banff. It makes the Hotel Del look like the Motel 6.

Well that is all for now. More to report later.

Hope you all have a great day

Walter
