San Francisco, It's a cable car!

As the Holiday Weekend Continues…
What Northern California Trip would be complete without a cable car ride. Note “Cable Car” not trolley. Trolleys are different. How different, well one thing is for sure they don’t run on cables.

So as the day continued lunch in China town and later lunch at Fisherman’s Warf. With a later lunch still at John’s Grill in the “Maltese Falcon Room” where the Dashiell Hammett Society meet and discus the enjoyment of the Maltese Falcon. Now I have never read or saw the movie, but I am going to have to broaden my cannon and take time out, so that I may really appreciate my meal.

Also saw the “Rockefeller Center Replica Tree” in Union Square. Very nice tree and Macy’s looks nice there too. As a matter of fact the all the people, except for those who were striking against the Department store, really seemed to enjoy their day.

Speaking of commerce camera shopping in China Town vs. Fisherman’s Warf is quite a price difference. Believe it or not the ocean front property of the Warf yielded a lower price on the same products. Results. I bought nothing. But much fun anyway.

Well have a great day and enjoy the people ! Posted by Picasa
